Payment Methods

Once your membership application has been approved by the EAJS Executive Committee, you will be able to login to the website and pay your membership fee securely online.

Annual Membership Subscription Payments

Annual membership payments should be made using our secure online payment facility which accepts debit and credit cards and is processed by Worldpay.

As the membership renewal date approaches (currently 31st December each year), you will receive email reminders that your annual subscription is due.

When you have paid your subscription using the online facility, you will receive an invoice from Worldpay in your inbox.

If payment is not made by the due date, then your access to the members’ pages on the website will be suspended. You will need to renew your subscription to reactivate your access.

All members are urged to use the online payment system. If you do not wish to use the online payment facility then your annual membership subscription may be paid by Sterling cheque, as follows:

Sterling cheques. Please make cheques payable to: “European Association for Jewish Studies”. Please contact the Administrator to request a payment form to be completed and returned with your payment.

Please note also that our bankers have informed us that they will not accept payments made to “EAJS”. The full name of the Association must be used.

Bank transfers in sterling: Following incidences of fraud on our account our bankers have advised that we should no longer give out our bank details, and so bank transfers are no longer offered as a payment method. Please contact the Administrator if you are not able to pay using the online payment system or by Sterling cheque.
