Description
I obtained my high school diploma from the Liceo Classico “Ariosto” in Ferrara on 1972, and my Architecture’s degree (IUAV University of Venice, 1977, 110/110 cum laude). I was previously state archivist at the State Archives of Ferrara. I was a member of the scientific committee of the Meis (Museo Nazionale dell’Ebraismo Italiano della Shoah) in Ferrara.
I am a member of AIGS (Associazione Italiana Studi Giudaismo), of ASSEI (Associazione Israeliana per lo studio della storia degli ebrei in Italia), of Accademia delle Scienze di Ferrara, of Deputazione Provinciale Ferrarese di Storia Patria.
As study and research topics I privilege the historic buildings of Ferrara, the settlement of the Jewish community of Ferrara and the urban-housing structure of the related ghetto. I published several articles on the historic establishment of the Jewish Italian, Askenazi and Sephardic Nations in Ferrara. I followed the editorial care of monographs on the Jewish presence in Ferrara and on the related Sephardic Nation.
I was entrusted with the scientific care of the exhibitions set up at State Archives of Ferrara, and at Meis, with the curatorship of the relevant catalogue;
I was entrusted with the scientific care of two international conferences organized by Meis in collaboration with State Archives of Ferrara, with the curatorship of the relevant volume of studies.
