Description
Sietske van der Veen is a historian and postdoctoral researcher within the project ‘Jewish Urban Cultures’ at the Department of Hebrew and Jewish Studies and the Amsterdam School of Historical Studies of the University of Amsterdam. She conducted doctoral research into the pre-war Jewish Dutch elite at Utrecht University, and is also affiliated with the European collaborative research project ‘Jewish Country Houses – Objects, Networks, People’.
