Description
DOROTA HENEGHAN is an Associate Professor of Spanish at Louisiana State University and the author of Striking Their Modern Pose: Fashion, Gender, and Modernity in Galdós, Pardo Bazán, and Picón (Purdue University Press 2015). She received her PhD in Spanish from Yale University and specializes in nineteenth- and twentieth-century Spanish peninsular literature and culture, gender and transatlantic studies, and comparative literature. Her work has appeared in Anales Galdosianos, Hispanic Review, Bulletin of Hispanic Studies, and Siglo Diecinueve. She currently works on a monograph Gender Relations and Nation in Sofía Casanova’s Writings from Poland (1913-1933).
