Description
I achieved my first degree at the Charles University in Prague, Czech republic, in Hebrew and Latin philology. I gained Master\'s degree at the Woolf Institute for the study of Abrahamic faiths at the University of Cambridge and a PhD at the Faculty of Divinity at the same University. The topic of my dissertation was the analysis of Takkanot Kandiyah, a corpus of Jewish legislative statutes from Venetian Crete. Since 2105, I have been a postdoctoral research fellow at the CML, working on a study of the takkanot ha-kahal genre and its place within pre-Emancipation Jewish literature.
