Description
Luisa Banki is a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal. She studied Comparative and English Literatures in Munich, Jewish Studies in Oxford, European Literatures in Berlin, and did her PhD as a member of the DFG reseach training group \"Das Reale in der Kultur der Moderne\" at the University of Konstanz. Her dissertation \"Post-Katastrophische Poetik. Zu W. G. Sebald und Walter Benjamin\" was published with Fink in 2016.
She is currently working on a second book project on conceptions and practices of female reading around 1800 and convenor of the international and interdisciplinary research network funded by the DFG \"3G. Positions of the Third Generation after the Shoah and the Second World War\".
