Description
I am a historian of Judaism in the Hellenistic and Roman Period, working on Jewish literature written in Greek (mainly Philo and Josephus) as well as on the Dead Sea Scrolls, Apocrypha and Pseudepigrapha, and rabbinic literature. My topics of research are mainly history of biblical interpretation, history of Jewish thought, ethics, and the cultural and political interaction between Jews and non-Jews in the Greco-Roman world.
